
María Angélica Burgos is a well regarding and in-demand Arbitrator in Bogotá, Colombia. She focuses her practice of more than 15 years in international and domestic arbitration and international investment law.
Prior of being Partner Baker McKenzie | International Arbitration and Dispute Resolution and founding Burgos Dispute Resolution, María Angélica was as a Senior Associate at Baker McKenzie’s Bogotá office, a Partner at Zuleta Abogados Asociados and Senior Associate with Gómez-Pinzón Zuleta Abogados.
Before private practice, she was an advisor to the government of Colombia, and as such, she participated in the negotiation of International Investment Agreements on behalf of Colombia and advised on investment dispute prevention and management. María Angélica was also a University Trainee at the International Court of Justice.
